Second Attack On Orange Hall Foiled

The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland has issued the following statement.

"This evening, Sunday, January 16, a second attempt to set fire to Strawletterdallon Orange Hall near Newtownstewart, in Co. Tyrone, was foiled.

"People were seen with a petrol container at the back of the Orange Hall and when challenged drove off. The incident is being investigated by the police.

Earlier in the day, around 9.00am, a passing motorist raised the alarm when he saw a burning tyre at the same building."
