Attacks On Lisnaskea Orange Hall

12 December 2007

The Grand Orange Lodge has condemned a spate of attacks on an Orange Hall in Fermanagh.

Windows were smashed in Fawney Orange Hall near Lisnaskea, last night, December 11.

There had been earlier vandalism directed towards the hall in November and in September, when windows were also smashed.

A spokesman for Grand Lodge said;
"These attacks should be condemned by everyone in the community. The local Orange lodge suffered enough during the troubles when two of its members, who were in the security forces, were murdered."
